“The LGBT Network is proud to have expanded its services with the opening of its Hamptons Center in Sag Harbor in 2013,” expressed CEO and co-founder David Kilmnick, PhD. “We’re excited to have garnered so much support so quickly to ensure that the life-saving services of the LGBT Network on the East End are available throughout the year.”
This Memorial Day weekend, the LGBT Network, an association of nonprofit organizations serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities of Long Island and Queens, is kicking off the Hamptons season with a double dose of holiday weekend events.
First, join civil rights hero Edie Windsor at her Southampton home on Saturday, May 23rd from 2 to 6 p.m. for the annual event benefiting the Hamptons LGBT Center. Windsor was the plaintiff in the Supreme Court victory overturning the U.S. Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), several years ago.

Following the 21-year tradition of Miracle House, the LGBT Network is taking over the annual fundraiser at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. The second event, which is also on Saturday, May 23rd, will feature a cocktail reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the LGBT Network and its organizations that have been serving the LGBT community since 1993.
Proceeds from both events support the LGBT Network’s programs for LGBT youth, adults, older adults, and LGBT-headed families.
