Ina Garten and Jeffrey Garten are once again opening up their East Hampton home, in support of a local cause. On Saturday, June 6th, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Garten’s are hosting Cocktails with the Barefoot Contessa benefiting East Hampton Historical Society.
The intimate evening with the Food Network star will support the Society’s move and restoration of the historical, late-18th-century Hedges barn. The soiree will feature hors d’oeuvres and drinks are based on Garten’s best-selling new cookbook, “Make It Ahead: A Barefoot Contessa Cookbook.”
Set on the Hamptons grounds of Garten’s French barn-like studio, supporters will be able to explore the herb gardens, scenic landscapes, and rolling lawns where the Barefoot Contessa finds her culinary inspiration.
Last summer, the Garten’s opened their home for a Garden Party benefiting Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) at the Pat & Mary Bagnato Place for Kids, a program of EAC Network.
Tickets to Cocktails with the Barefoot Contessa are $300.
