On Saturday, July 11th from 6:30 to 10 p.m., the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation will host its 11th annual “A Hamptons Happening.” Taking place at the Bridgehampton home of Maria and Kenneth Fishel, the foodie event will once again showcase cuisine from renowned chefs/restaurateurs and caterers.
Featured chefs include Mauro Maccione and the Le Cirque Group, which include Circo, Sirio’s and Le Cirque, as well as John DeLucie of Crown Group Hospitality, who will represent Bill’s Food & Drink and The Lion. Overall, the night will include bites from over 30 chefs, the largest number of culinary gurus yet. Attendees can enjoy a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Indian, organic, seafood, and sweet eats from the finest pastry chefs. The soiree will also feature an open bar, beats by Super Dave, provided by Allen Dalton Productions, so you can dance off a few of the calories you consume throughout the night, and a live and silent auction, showcasing various experience packages, as well as one-of-a-kind luxury items.
Founding Chairs, Marion Waxman and Laurie Schaffran, will be joined by Pamela Morgan and Michael Trokel, who are this year’s Event Chairs. “A Hamptons Happening” will honor Marc Leder Co-CEO Sun Capital Partners and Bobby Zarin, Chairman, Zarin Fabrics and Real Estate developer. WCBS-TV Channel 2 news anchor Chris Wragge will serve as emcee for the fourth consecutive year.
Tickets start at $350 and $175 for Juniors (30 and under).
