On Saturday, August 15th, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) will hold their annual Bow Wow Meow Ball to celebrate the organization’s live saving work. The event at the ARF Adoption Center is expected to bring out over 400 guests, with all proceeds benefiting ARF.
Brooke Shields will serve as emcee of the evening, which will honor Peter Marino for his commitment to animal welfare and ARF. Marino, a longtime supporter of ARF, is an internationally acclaimed architect, who is known for his residential and retail designs for iconic names in the fashion and art world. He will be presented with the ARF Champion of Animals Award.
“The Bow Wow Meow Ball will be a fantastic party,” shared Lisa McCarthy, the Board President of ARF. “It’s a wonderful way to bring together our supporters and help raise funds for ARF while having fun.”
Party guests will enjoy sumptuous eats by Glorious Food and music by Peter Duchin Orchestra. The evening will also include a live auction, a silent and online auction and special appearances by some of the dogs and cats that are up for adoption. The soiree will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30 p.m. The evening’s dress code is black, white and silver.
“This year’s event is truly a celebration as we honor Peter Marino who has helped ARF become what it is today, one of the leading animal shelters on Long Island,” said McCarthy.
Tickets begin at $500.
