On Saturday, March 5th, Island Gift of Life Foundation is presenting its 16th Annual Cheryl Hannabury Memorial “Celebration of Life” Community Cocktail Party at the Ram’s Head Inn.
“Our Annual Gala is always an incredibly fun evening of friends and neighbors coming out for a great cause,” shared Ken Lewis, President of Island Gift of Life Foundation. “All of us at the Island Gift of Life Foundation really strive to help as many people on the East End as we are able to, and the funds raised on this night make that possible.”
From 6 to 9 p.m., partygoers will enjoy a lively time during the community happening that features live music by the Jon Divello Band, an open bar, light fare, a 50/50 raffle, and silent auction. Another highlight of the evening is the festive live auction led by Ryan Sampson, host of the “Morning Mash Up” on SiriusXM’s Hits 1, which will feature several amazing items, like a trip to Tuscany for eight guests, who will stay in a private villa or a weekend getaway in the historic island light station off the coast of Maine, where you will have the run of the Whitehead Light Station and its seven quaint bedrooms for four days and three nights. The vacation includes private boat tours, a private chef and private captain who will transport the winner and their guests to and from the mainland.
The Island Gift of Life Foundation is a non-profit that provides financial help and other support to those with life threatening illnesses that live on the East End. Services that the organization offer include monetary grants, assistance with the insurance process, travel expense coverage, medical expense reduction, a bone marrow donor program, and other assistance. The Island Gift of Life Foundation raises the majority of its funds during The Cheryl Hannabury Memorial “Celebration of Life” Community Cocktail Party.
Tickets are $40.
