Katy’s Kids offers a safe and supportive environment where children, teens, young adults and families who have lost a loved one can grieve and share their experiences.
“The work that Jim, Brigid and Katy’s Kids is doing is absolutely vital to families living in the East End,” said Steve Long, the President of the Children’s Museum. “Every time Katy’s Kids meets at the Children’s Museum, we are reminded that the role of play in helping kids cope with loss is truly invaluable.”
Love Bites will also support The Scarlett Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which was created by Jennifer and Robert James in honor of their daughter, Scarlett James, who was diagnosed at age 6 with T Cell Lymphoma.
