The Michael Bolton Charities, founded by Grammy-award winning singer and social activist Michael Bolton, will hold “An Evening Under The Stars” on Saturday, August 19th at 6 p.m. Taking place at a private residence in the Hamptons, the summer soiree will feature a dinner, auction and private performance by Michael Bolton. All proceeds from the event will benefit women and children at risk of domestic violence.
“The Michael Bolton Charities has been working on behalf of women and children in danger of domestic violence, abuse and human trafficking for 24 years, and our annual event, An Evening Under the Stars, is an integral part of that work,” explained Jackie Smaga, Executive Director of The Michael Bolton Charities. “Last year’s event raised over $100,000, and we’re looking forward to another great event on August 19th!”
Over the past 24 years The Michael Bolton Charities has raised over $10 million in support of more than 100 organizations committed to responding to the needs of children and women at risk from domestic violence, physical and mental abuse, poverty, homelessness and human trafficking.
This year’s An Evening Under The Stars will be hosted by Kimberly Guilfoyle and Chris Wragge, produced by Lawrence Scott Events, and honor Susan Shin, founder of Shin Advisors, LLC and philanthropist.
Additionally, The Michael Bolton Charities will be partnering with Glenn Bradford Fine Jewelry for a Shop for Charity week from Friday, August 18 through Friday, August 25, with a portion of the sales supporting The Michael Bolton Charities. Glenn Bradford Fine Jewelry will kick off Shop For Charity with an in-store event at their Southampton location on Friday, August 18 from 3 to 5 p.m.
