You won’t have to travel all the way to Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, or Atlantic City for an exhilarating casino adventure this fall because AIA Peconic, along with Electronic Environments/Lutron, I-Grace and Page at 63 Main, are providing an unmissable, one night only high-stakes experience right here in the Hamptons during a Casino Night benefit for the Sag Harbor Cinema.
On Friday, October 27, hope luck is on your side at Page at 63 Main and make sure your poker face is on point as you gamble the night away in support of a great cause.
“We are so grateful to AIA Peconic and our generous sponsors for spearheading Casino Night at Page for us, and especially for them ‘taking a gamble’ on our whole exciting enterprise to rebuild the Cinema!” shared April Gornik. As of right now, the Sag Harbor Partnership has raised $6,250,000 of its $8,000,000 goal, which will support the purchase and restoration of the Sag Harbor Cinema, which was severely damaged by a devastating fire last December.
Attendees will enjoy wine, beer, hors d’oeuvres, and a variety of casino favorites, like black jack and craps.
“AIA Peconic has always had, as part of its mission, to effect sustainable change within the East End communities it serves and when the opportunity to support the restoration of this icon of Sag Harbor was presented, the membership of AIA Peconic, along with Electronic Environments, I-Grace, Lutron and Page at 63 Main took up the challenge,” explained Kay Jones, Executive Director of AIA Peconic.
The festive affair will begin at 6 p.m. and tickets start at $75, but for an extra $25, you’ll get $500 in playing money.
“This is going to be a great evening of fun and games, and everybody at the Partnership is looking forward to it,” added Gornik.
Additionally, The Wharf Shop (69 Main Street, Sag Harbor) is supporting the fundraising campaign by presenting a raffle for a $100 gift certificate. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20. You can also support the Partnership’s efforts by purchasing a baseball cap designed exclusively for the Cinema Fund effort by Bongiorno Brand that features the iconic Cinema sign or one of Surf And Slide Co.’s t-shirts that also highlight the sign.
