Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) will host its 9th Annual Benefit at the Boardy Barn on Saturday, September 8.
“SASF’s Annual Boardy Barn Event is about community,” reflected Jerry Rosenthal, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation Executive Director. “The benefit is organized and run by our shelter’s loyal and hardworking volunteers who are devoted to raising important funds to support the more than 1,500 animals that come into our community shelter.”
From 6 to 11 p.m., all are welcome to join SASF at the Barn for an evening of live music by Second Shift, several chances to win incredible prizes – through a vast chance auction, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and door prizes – buffet dinner, and more. There will also be a special appearance from a few surprise SASF guests.
“A big thank you goes to Susie Kinscherf and her dedicated committee, to Boardy Barn owners Mickey and Tony who donate not only the location but also their staff and band and to the many local businesses who sponsor the event,” Rosenthal relayed. “To all our volunteers who give their time, effort and love- huge thank you!”
Proceeds from the evening will support the non-profit organization that is committed to offering refuge to the homeless pets in our community as they await their forever homes. The open intake shelter accepts stray animals regardless of age, breed, or health.
“I hope everyone will come out and join me for a night of fun, good food and great music in support of our community animal shelter,” Rosenthal added.
Admission to the 9th Annual Benefit at the Boardy Barn is $35 in advance and $40.
