The Children’s Museum of the East End’s (CMEE) beloved annual Fall “Ladies Night” Fundraiser and Auction is switching things up this year with a new location at a Hamptons favorite.
“This year, we are hosting CMEE’s annual Fall Ladies Night Fundraiser at Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton,” noted Lara Sweeney, Director of Development.
Taking place on Wednesday, November 14 from 6 to 8 p.m., attendees will enjoy spectacular cocktails, the chance to catch up with other CMEE supporters, and an exceptional silent auction.
“In addition to being a festive night out with friends over cocktails, you’ll have a chance to bid on a fantastic collection of raffle and auction prizes from local businesses,” Sweeney shared.
When the benefit is over, Fall Ladies Night attendees may head to Rowdy Hall where they will receive a 20 percent discount on food and drinks.
Funds raised at “Ladies Night” will aid CMEE’s outreach to underserved East End communities. “Proceeds from the event support the Children’s Museum and ensures that all families regardless of ability, background or income can access the Children’s Museum,” Sweeney added. CMEE’s mission “to spark imagination and foster learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities and to build strong connections within the East End community by providing playful experiences” – which it upholds by offering a variety of educational exhibits and programs, as well as teaming up with other arts and social service organizations to tackle problems that cause unease amongst local families.
The “Ladies Night” Host Committee includes Lourdes Alban, Maty Buss, Rebecca Chaikin Rosenberg, Sarah Cohen, Andressa Costa, Nicole Delma, Caetly Dornhofer, Rachel Feldman, Meaghan Guzman, Diana Heather, Lisa Herbert Winter, Janice Hummel, Amanda Millner-Fairbanks, Sarah Minardi, Mia Ljungberg Nevado, Sheri Rosenblatt, Torie Ross, Shelley Suh, Liza Tremblay, Kate Turza, Sally Wang and Erica Wren.
Admission to “Ladies Night,” which is being presented by The Shed Workspace, a new woman’s community workspace in Sag Harbor, is $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
CMEE, which is one of the most visited museums on the East End of Long Island, hosts over 75,000 visitors each year. The Museum boasts more than 7,000 square feet of interactive, hands-on exhibits, classrooms, and performance space.
