Justin Bieber made headlines in the Hamptons for an alleged nightclub brawl at South Pointe during the summer of 2013, and his involvement in the fight is catching up to the Canadian singer.
During an off day while on his 2013 Believe tour, the Biebs was indirectly involved in an altercation with members of his security team at the former Southampton nightclub. The drama was reportedly over a woman that Bieber wanted to bring home that night.
According to TMZ, 22-year old Wayne Rennalls is suing the singer over injuries sustained during the fight. Even though the Biebs didn’t directly take part in the violence, Rennalls claims that since his assailants were on Bieber’s payroll, the singer would potentially be accountable for the damages.
And that’s not the only legal drama resulting from the brawl. Rennalls is also accusing South Pointe of serving drinks to Bieber, who was 19 and underage at the time.
So 2014 may be ending on a sour note for Bieber, but 2015 is already looking up for the Biebs, as HollywoodLife.com is reporting that the singer is releasing a new album.
