As per usual, there’s no shortage of Memorial Day weekend Hamptons happenings.
Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-3117, stephentalkhouse.com) will kick-off the holiday weekend a little early with a CD Release Party for Nancy Atlas. The local legend and her band The Nancy Atlas Project will play from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. On Friday, it’s Kiefer Sutherland with opening act Rick Brantley at 8 p.m. and Booga Sugar at 10 p.m. Saturday will feature 10,000 Maniacs at 8 p.m. and Hello Brooklyn at 10 p.m. Sunday’s got a jam-packed lineup with Lucky Chops at 7 p.m., Roctopus at 9 p.m. and Strecker Band at 11 p.m. On Tuesday, enjoy Industry Night with Running Rampant at 10 p.m.

Wolffer Wine Stand (3312 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-5106, www.wolffer.com) will launch its sunset sets with Clinton Curtis on Friday and Mamalee Rose on Saturday. Concerts begin at 5 p.m.
Ram’s Head Inn (108 South Ram Island Drive, Shelter Island Heights, www.theramsheadinn.com) is celebrating the holiday weekend with classic rock from Jon Divello and Chris Tedesco on Friday from 7 to 10:30 p.m. and the start of its popular Sunday Jazz series, which will feature live jazz with Jane Hastay, piano, Steve Shaughnessy, bass, John Ludlow, sax, Baron Lewis, trumpet, John Cataletto., drums and a guest vocalist every Sunday from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, starting at 6 p.m.
Oreya Restaurant at the Capri Southampton (281 County Rd 39A, Southampton, 631-504-6575, caprisouthampton.com) is re-opening on Friday, May 26. Its 2017 debut will include the launch of the “Oreya Lounge” by Frederick Lesort and Philippe Olivier Bondon, with a Grand Opening and Summer Kickoff featuring Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne and music by dance-pop duo, Glassio on Friday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday will feature Metropolitan Magazine’s Cover Party hosted by Sonja Morgan from 6 to 8 p.m. and DJ sets by Aiden Jude and JAY XERO in the Oreya Lounge from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Memorial Day weekend programming will wrap up on Sunday with Music by Nick AM in Oreya Lounge from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa (290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, 631-668-1804, www.gurneysmontauk.com) will have music by DJ Nicole Leone and Stef Nava at the Regent Firepit on Friday at 5 p.m. If you indulged a little too much the night before, kick-off Saturday with a Pure Barre Class taught by Detroit Pistons player, Tobias Harris on the Top Deck at 10 a.m. Live music at The Beach Club by DJ Nicole Leone and The Knocks will follow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. DJ Mike Nouveau is spinning at the Regent Firepit from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and live jazz at The Regent Cocktail Club will wrap up the evening from 10 p.m. to closing. On Sunday, enjoy music by DJ Wilki and Ollie Benz at The Beach Club from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, Gurney’s will present a 6 Shore Road pop-up all weekend long.
Montauk Beach House (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-668-2112, thembh.com) will welcome Louie XIV, a New York City-based DJ, producer and writer, for a set on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, catch Ian Mellencamp – yes, he’s the nephew of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, from 3 to 7 p.m. Mellencamp – who recently dropped a new EP, Free AF, says his style is “Frank Zappa meets Andy Warhol.” On Sunday, Glamour girl Kristin Gallegos – the makeup artist behind some of your favorite celebs and magazine editorials – is spinning from 3 to 7 p.m. and the MBH’s holiday weekend programming will culminate with Kristine Barrilli on Monday from 12 to 4 p.m.

Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) will present an acoustic set from Alfredo Merat on Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., followed by music from a DJ at 10 p.m. Saturday will bring a poolside DJ set from 1 to 6 p.m. and DJ Faze at 10 p.m. On Sunday, it’s a poolside brunch with Bossa Nova by Marcello and Ludmilla from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Surf Lodge’s (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, 631-483-5037, thesurflodge.com) Summer Concert Series, presented by Lincoln and Billboard, will kick-off on Friday at 7 p.m. with a performance from Aaron Livingston, A.K.A. Son Little, an American rhythm & blues musician from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On Saturday, Cole Ramstad, who is known for blending R&B and soul, will take the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 28 will feature Danish pop and soul band Lukas Graham, who will perform starting at 7 p.m. On Monday, international fashion photographer Ben Watts will host his third annual Aussie BBQ, with Watts Up Rosé and other fun surprises. The BBQ begins at 3 p.m.
Southampton Social Club (256 Elm Street, Southampton, 631-287-1400, www.southamptonsocialclub.com) will have beats by Bachmann on Friday, and DJ Steven Paul on Saturday and Sunday.
Beach Bar’s (58 Foster Avenue, Hampton Bays, beachbarhamptons.com) 25th season will kick-off with a Season Opening Party on Friday with music by DJ Doug and a special guest appearance by DJ Unique of the Jersey Shore. Saturday will mark the Return of the “The Drift” Party – as the Drift Inn will once again have a summer residency at Beach Bar on Saturday’s.
AM Southampton’s (125 Tuckahoe Lane, Southampton, www.amsouthampton.com) second season will debut with hip-hop duo Ayo & Teo on Friday, DJs Rick Wonder and Chris Bachmann on Saturday, Grammy-winning remixer, producer and DJ Cedric Gervais on Sunday. Doors open at 10 p.m.

WorkEatPlay has teamed up with Ruschmeyer’s (161 2nd House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2877, www.ruschmeyersmtk.com) for its #ShareTheWave Memorial Day weekend. #CampRusch will kick-off with a fitness session at 10 a.m., that will feature box + flow, New York Pilates, or ideal living studio, followed by refreshments from Indie Fresh, Montauk Juice Factory, Casamigos, and Montauk Brewing Company. On Saturday at 12 p.m., Chillhouse will be giving manis and on Sunday at 12 p.m., Glam&Go will provide beach braids. Local luminaries will talk about “The Untold Montauk” during #HalfTheStory’s panel discussion on Monday at 1 p.m. Also, catch sets from local favorites Revel in Dimes and The Sturdy Souls, with a late night DJ sponsored by Billboard Dance. #CampRusch happenings will take place from 1o a.m. to close Saturday through Monday.
AM Southampton is also partnering with its sister venue Kozu (136 Main Street, Southampton, www.facebook.com) for a Saturday “Neverland Brunch” series that will feature Disney themed afternoons that pair whimsical components like candy and cotton candy with boozy brunch musts like champagne ice pops and bottles of rosé. The “Neverland Brunches” will be held from 12 to 6 p.m.
Live entertainment at The Montauk Yacht Club (32 Star Island Road, Montauk, 631-668-3100, www.montaukyachtclub.com) will feature the Chuck E Band on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday will bring Lele & The Hit Squad to the stage from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a steel drum band will entertain beachside from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ian Mellencamp is hosting a dinner with his girlfriend Jazmin Grimaldi (Grace Kelly’s granddaughter) at Centro Trattoria & Bar (336 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631594-5744, www.centrohamptons.com) on Saturday, which will be followed by a DJ set from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Sylvester Manor Educational Farm, in partnership with Shelter Island Town Recreation Department, is hosting a lively evening of barn dancing featuring Manor family Bennett Konesni and Edith Gawler, who will be joined by musicologist Jeff Davis, at the Shelter Island Youth Center (281 North Ferry Rd, Shelter Island, 631-749-0626, www.sylvestermanor.org) on Saturday at 8 p.m. The excitement will begin at 7:45 with a short instructional segment.
Miss Chloe (44 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton) will make its Hamptons debut over Memorial Day weekend. The East Hampton venue, which formely housed Finale East, SL East, Lily Pond, Resort, and The Leo, will feature live music in the evenings. Its opening weekend will showcase a set from DJ Funkmaster Flex, with an opening set from Fotsbeats, on Sunday.
