4th Annual Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show And Auction In The Hamptons

On Thursday April 18, 2013, Lucia’s Angels hosted their 4th Annual Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show and Auction at Southampton Social Club. The auction was organized by a team of walkers, “Heaven Can Wait” who participate in the annual two-day long LI2Day Walk For Breast Cancer walk coming up on Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9. Proceeds from the auction as well as other fundraising made by team “Heaven Can Wait” will benefit benefit the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital, the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center, and Lucia’s Angels, a foundation that supports East End women with late-stage cancer and their families.

A group of designers were given the opportunity to create custom bras which were shown off during the show and then auctioned off. This year’s designers included Ruan Norquist, Karyn Mannix, Valerie Rever, Jessi Grangier, Amy Musto, Tom Kochie, Pat Kochie, Beverly Schanzer, Beverly Deak, Erin Hattrick, Amy Plum, Daniel Gonzalez and , Vicki Durand, Yuka Silvera, Missie Duchemin, Rebecci Burriesci, Geri Schmitt, Christine Laureano, Jessi Elliott and Jenny Gorman.
