Delmonico’s Of Southampton Est. 1837 celebrated the opening of their Hamptons location with a champagne brunch held on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Classic antique cars were on display outside the Southampton restaurant and inside guests tasted samplings from the menu which included Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, freshly shucked oysters from the raw bar, Lobster Newburg as well as a few sweet treats like mini Baked Alaska Ice Cream Cones.
Southampton Mayor Mark Epley had the honor of slicing through red ceremonial ribbon to celebrate the official opening with Delmonico’s Restaurant Group executives. To commemorate the special day Delmonico’s Restaurant Group executives presented Brenda Simmons, co-founder of African American Museum of the East End with a donation for the Hamptons organization.
The Southampton location is seaside spin on the flagship Delmonico’s Restaurant in downtown Manhattan featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients like freshly caught seafood as well as farm-to-table specialties and modern twists on Delmonico’s signatures like the Eggs Benedict, Delmonico Steak, and Lobster Newburg.
