Cocktail Party Prelude To Southampton Hospital’s Upcoming Annual Summer Party

A cocktail reception to kick off the Forward to the Future 55th Annual Summer Party was hosted by Barbara and Randall Smith on June 15, 2013. The event was held at the Smith residence as a prelude to the Summer Party which will take place August 3 to benefit the Southampton Hospital. Hospital President and CEO, Robert Chaloner, was joined by Board of Directors member Jean Remmel FitzSimmons and this year’s Chairwoman, Jean Shafiroff, in welcoming supporters.

Shafiroff and Chaloner took the opportunity to express gratitude to the corporate chairs, including Allen & Co. and Barclays, as well as the event’s honorary chair, Audrey Gruss, and all those in attendance who continued to display commitment to supporting the Southampton Hospital.

The Summer Party will be hosted by Chuck Scarborough at the Art Southampton pavilion on the Elks Lodge property in Southampton. The evening will be catered by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs and the Alex Donner Orchestra will supply live music. The event will also feature a silent auction and a raffle. The money raised will benefit the Southampton Hospital, specifically Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department and the new Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart and Stroke Center.
