Spatini IV And The New Beach Club At Gurney’s

Spatini IV

As expected, the 4th Annual Spatini Party at Gurney’s Inn, Resort & Spa proved to be a hit again this year. The roof deck of the Sea Water Spa was packed with revelers celebrating summer beauty against the backdrop of the resort’s stunning ocean view.

Along with delicious Spatini cocktails provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, scrumptious Gurney’s hors d’oeuvres and fabulous music from DJ Dodge, glowing hula hoops were added to this year’s festivities which turned the night from amazing to electric. Pamper and party was the mission again this year and guests embraced the concept whole-heartedly!

Attendees were treated to makeovers, make-up tips and spa services from Gurney’s fabulous Sea Water Spa, the only sea water spa in the continental U.S. that features signature Thalasso therapies and uses sea water in the Olympic-size, indoor heated pool and roman baths. Along with beauty treatments there were back rubs and foot massages, hand therapies and an array of the Sea Water Spa’s exclusive, state-of-the-art organic health and beauty products to sample and purchase.

Admittedly, gals outnumbered the guys 2-to-1 (as if we needed any other reason to attend Spatini fellas), but there were plenty of guys on hand proudly displaying their metro-sexual comfort with all things beauty care related. In fact, actor Charlie O’Connell, one of many Sea Water Spa celebrity summer regulars, attended Spatini for the second year in row.

Not only did guests treat themselves, but a portion of each admission was donated to The Retreat, the East End’s only agency servicing victims of domestic violence and abuse. Feeling good and doing good, the perfect combination at any Hamptons party! Spatini V should be on everybody’s calendar for 2014!

Gurney’s New Beach Club

There is no disputing the fact that Gurney’s Inn Resort & Spa has one of the most pristine ocean fronts of any hotel or resort on the East End. The Django’s Beach Barge at Gurney’s has always be a fun place to party and relax in the sun and moon light, but Gurney’s is taking it up a notch and then some.

Welcome to the new Beach Club at Gurney’s! This chic, upscale re-envision is reminiscent of the original European beach clubs found in the finest seaside resorts throughout the South of France and Amalfi Coast. Guests can now relax on cozy day beds or lounge on plush pillow-topped chairs while sipping signature afternoon cocktails or a bottle of their favorite wine. The sleek, white outdoor furniture is accented by vibrant red pillows, rendering an elegant yet relaxing experience.

Summer weekends in Montauk will never be the same!

An afternoon at the Beach Club at Gurney’s will consist of long leisurely lunches, seaside lounging, and music that will progress in tempo as the sun sets. Steps from the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, guests will experience the pleasure of paradise on the sand and in the sun.

Always known for the freshest of seafood and farm to table selections at the resort’s Sea Grille Restaurant and superb casual Italian cuisine at Caffe Monte, the Beach Club offers another option with a totally re-imagined menu seaside. Guests will savor a true ocean to table experience with the ability to choose from fresh line caught fish and shellfish displayed on deck, grilled and cooked to perfection, and served with seasonal raw or grilled vegetables. A raw bar featuring a variety of local seafood, including oysters and clams, will also be featured daily.

Resident DJs starting on Fridays will light up the afternoon into the evening featuring the very best European sounds. Live music and bonfires will continue the energy on Sunday nights featuring acts like Hamptons’ musical icon Dan Daily and his Tribe, among others. Music and bonefires are not limited to the weekends as Gurney’s continues its Tuesday evening Stoli Concert Series with bands like Gene Casey & the Lone Sharks, New Life Crisis, The Lengendary Murphys and others.

Also, do not and I mean DO NOT miss Gurney’s unforgetable Oceanfront Lobsterbake every Wednesday 6:00-8:30 p.m. This is without doubt the best lobster fete on the East End. It is literally a Lobster Bacchanal!

“We are excited to embark on the next evolution of Gurney’s Inn with the launch of the Beach Club,” says Paul Monte, General Manager of Gurney’s Inn Resort & Spa. “The unparalleled setting of the property allows us to offer something new and exciting that was previously unavailable in the Hamptons.”

Already Montauk’s legendary destination, Gurney’s Inn Resort & Spa has elevated the seaside playing field to an entirely new level with the new Beach Club at Gurney’s. Elegant European fun in the Montauk sun!
