Landscape lovers will be treated to exclusive visits to private gardens in East Hampton and Wainscott, as part of the Parrish Art Museum’s annual two-day horticulture event, Landscape Pleasures. The event, which will run from Saturday, June 13th through Sunday, June 14th, includes a seminar with experts of garden design and garden tours of the best Hamptons grounds.
C. Colston Burrell, a celebrated author, lecturer and garden designer, is scheduled to speak on “Finishing Touches: The Power of Details in Garden Design” at the symposium, which will run from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m., on Saturday morning. Award-winning garden designers Janice Parker and Luciano Giubbilei will discuss the process of creating landscapes and the impact of partnerships in creating atmosphere. Edwina von Gal is also expected to deliver an overview of her company’s mission of chemical-free gardening practices.
Following Saturday’s activities, Sponsor Level ticket holders are invited to a reception in Marcia Riklis’ Southampton garden.

Beginning at 10 a.m. the following day, ticket holders are invited to participate in self-guided tours of the private gardens at the homes of Toni Ross, Eleanora and Michael Kennedy, Robin and Fred Seegal, Jane and Michael DeFlorio and David Kleinberg.
This year’s event is co-chaired by Lillian Cohen, Martha B. McLanahan, and Linda Hackett Munson, with vice-chairs Stacy Paetzel, Tony Piazza, and Dennis Schrader.
