Siblings Greg and Alexa Ammon have decided to put 59 Middle Lane, the family’s East Hampton home, up for sale. The sprawling Hamptons estate is listed for $12.7 million with Judi Desiderio of Town & Country Real Estate.
“Having been the broker for the Ammon family for nearly 15 years, we have rented the home to several families with children, all of whom have thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and outstanding sprawling grounds, for some two years running,” said Desiderio. “A few tenants were interested in purchasing the property but the family wasn’t ready to let it go.”
The private English Manor style home is located in East Hampton’s Estate Section, with both Katie Couric and Jerry Seinfeld residing just around the corner. The 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath mansion features a solarium, library, gourmet kitchen, library, family room, exercise room, heated pool, pool house, and 3 car garage. The gorgeous abode is situated on 2.2 lush acres that are accentuated by exquisite gardens and a pond.
“Alexa and I are now ready to sell our childhood home as we are both moving forward with exciting new ventures,” said Greg Ammon, who founded Big Flower, a Hamptons lifestyle brand with a flagship in East Hampton, last year. “We truly hope our family home finds the right buyer who can enjoy the many happy memories we had here and appreciate the true beauty that it has to offer.”
Ammon plans to expand the Big Flower brand this fall. Alexa, a recent USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate, is currently pursuing a career in film and photography.
