An over-the-top private dining experience is available in the Hamptons with this premium omakase concept. The experience will be hyper-tailored and perfect for special occasions like proposals, micro-weddings, birthdays, and every type of celebration in between.
Ten Homakase has partnered with the acclaimed Foodie Magician, Plus Ones NYC, Shannon Fiedler, and Shake Rattle & Roll Pianos to create the ultimate evening for guests. Ten Homakase is a premium and private omakase offering from renowned Sushi Chef and co-owner Daniel Kim, alongside seasoned industry individuals and long-time omakase enthusiasts Jake Poznak and Maxwell Weiss.
The team noted a gap in the sushi market and wanted to be able to bring omakase to guests with a customizable and unique experience available right in the comfort of their private homes or other event settings. The team is enthusiastic about creating memorable moments and unforgettable experiences.

Co-owner Maxwell Weiss spoke more about the Ten Homakase concept, what went into the collaboration for the Hamptons experiences, and what diners can expect.
Can you tell us what Ten Homakase is all about?
MW: Ten Homakase is an exceptional omakase experience readily available in any private setting, preparing omakase style sushi anywhere in the tri-state NY area, namely, the Hamptons, and across the East Coast. The brand offers premium, expandable, customizable nigiri courses with premiere add-ons like uni or wagyu.
Can you tell us about the partnerships and what went into the collaboration for the Hamptons experience with Ten Homakase?
MW: When customers book a Ten Homakase dinner, the partnerships offer a unique feature. The thoughtfully designed evening is customizable with add-ons to suit any client’s requirements. Ten Homakase can now provide their Michelin-level omakase, accompanied by a one-of-a-kind performance, anywhere, giving visitors a chance to genuinely wow their lovers, friends, or family – an elevated and unique experience yet enjoyable and engaging. Because so many parties and events are taking place out East all summer, choosing Ten Homakase for guests’ Hamptons experience is a no-brainer. Additionally, guests like the upgraded omakase experience and the convenience of not having to leave their homes.
Could you discuss the partners (Foodie Magician, Plus Ones NYC, Shannon Fiedler, and Shake Rattle & Roll Pianos)?
MW: The Foodie Magician is a professional entertainer who intertwines magic, mentalism, and comedy worldwide with guests at dinner parties. The Plus Ones and Shake Rattle & Roll Pianos are professional music bands and entertainers that make any Ten Homakase dinners spectacular. Shannon Fiedler is a world-class comedian who can perform a private show for dinner guests.
What can diners expect?
MW: We aim to create memorable and bespoke experiences for friends and families; the distinct offerings are enjoyable among loved ones to produce unforgettable experiences. We are excited to participate in future special celebrations and significant life events!
What sets Ten Homakase apart from any other experience, whether dining or otherwise?
MW: With Ten Homakase, we bring the restaurant to you. We can deliver the same quality meal you would find in a Michelin-level restaurant in the comfort of your home. Guests can have a private and personalized experience in their homes. The benefits are limitless, whether you love blastic rock music, can listen to Led Zeppelin while eating omakase, or want to drink your favorite bottles of white burgundy from your home collections.
Can you talk about the omakase concept?
MW: Omakase means “to intrust”. When you book with Ten Homakase, you are entrusting our chef team to provide a unique sushi experience with seasonal fish sourced from around the world. With Kosher and vegetarian menus available, guests can choose from Nigiri menus of 12, 15, or 17 courses of uniquely curated fish, sake, and Japanese appetizers. We try to make something for everyone. Each dining experience is unique and depends on the nature of the dinner, event, or celebration.
What are your favorite dishes or items? What makes them unique?
MW: My favorite dish is the Wagyu Beef Tartare. It is a great cross between a traditionally French dish, paired with the absolute highest quality beef, and seasoned with Japanese ingredients.
What’s your favorite thing about being located in the Hamptons?
MW: Ten Homakase’s primary business is hosting extraordinary events in clients’ homes. The Hamptons is a region with a high concentration of lovely residences. We like transforming houses into dining establishments.
What makes Ten Homakase successful?
MW: We place a strong emphasis on ingredients and quality. Our culinary team, which has prepared omakase meals in various settings and hundreds of them, is what makes us most successful. Our chefs have consistently delivered high quality experiences despite working in different environments.
What has been your greatest accomplishment working in this industry to date?
MW: The ability to increase Ten Homakase’s reach and scope has been my greatest accomplishment. We set out on a mission to provide at-home omakase experiences. While we’ve continued providing these excellent at-home experiences, we have expanded to offer pop ups at social clubs, and serve sushi at large events. We have had the opportunity to share our experiences in various locations. We are enthusiastic about the future of our brand.
Have you had a favorite event that stood out over the years?
MW: We have participated in many weddings in unique places by providing hand roll bars and stations. Taking part in these once in a lifetime events in the Hamptons has been incredible.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
MW: We offer sushi classes and hope to educate guests on our sushi, showing guests how to make maki rolls, hand rolls, and nigiri. These omakase lessons are interactive and immersive, led by our team. We also offer hand roll and nigiri counters for large-scale events!
