East End-Based Artists Association Hosting Inaugural Online Holiday Art Sale

After hosting its inaugural online art exhibition earlier this year, Southampton Artists Association (SAA) will once again highlight a talented assemblage of local artists digitally during SAA’s Online Holiday Art Sale.

“It’s our first online holiday sale,” SAA board member Paul Dempsey noted. “It includes more than 50 SAA artists.” The Artists Association is comprised of both professional and amateur artists that reside across the East End.

The Online Holiday Art Sale will encompass a plethora of mediums, including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture and more – with a sitewide savings of up to 20 percent. Shoppers will find hundreds of extraordinary pieces in many styles, all of which will be available for purchase at affordable prices.

The Southampton Artists Holiday Art Sale is available to view via Southampton Artists Association’s website – where each participating artist has their own personal page showcasing five of the artist’s works. “When you find something you like, contact artist and make your deal,” Dempsey explained. “Each artist gallery page has a link to their individual website – you might find something else you like from a particular artist.”

Southampton Artists Association’s Online Holiday Art Sale will run through Friday, December 25.

Typically, SAA hosts four annual exhibitions at the Levitas Center for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center – a winter show in February/March, Memorial Day Show, Labor Day Show, and Fall Art Exhibition. Because of the pandemic, the Memorial Day Show was held virtually, but the Labor Day Art Exhibit and Fall Art Exhibition returned to the Levitas Center for the Arts. The not for profit artists association also presents a collective members show at the Town Hall in Southampton during December and January, as well as sponsors and spearheads the annual July fine outdoor art show, Art in the Park, held at Agawam Park in Southampton. Additionally, SAA sponsors art classes taught by professional artists.
