The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) has once again partnered with Variety to present this year’s Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch class. Joining a highly impressive group of actors honored during HIFF’s history including Lupita Nyong’o, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Blake Lively, Brie Larson, Oscar Isaac, David Oyelowo, Tatiana Maslany, Dane DeHaan, Rooney Mara, Ezra Miller, and Alexander Skarsgård, the new talent will be featured in the October 7 issue of Variety and will take part in a panel during HIFF.
Dakota Johnson: The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, Dakota landed the coveted role of Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated “50 Shades of Grey” with Jamie Dornan and also stars in “Black Mass” with Johnny Depp.
Miles Teller: With roles in both indie films like “The Spectacular Now” and this year’s Sundance hit “Whiplash,” as well as mainstream movies including “That Awkward Moment” with Zac Efron, “The Fantastic Four” and “Divergent,” Teller’s career is bound to be an interesting one to follow.
Zoe Kravitz: The daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, Zoe’s credits include “X-Men: First Class,” “Divergent” and the upcoming “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
Jenny Slate: The comedian is having a breakout year on the indie circuit with her film “Obvious Child” and can also be seen in “The Longest Week.” Slate has had guests appearances on numerous shows including “Parks and Recreation,” “House of Lies,” FX’s “Married,” and “Kroll Show.”
Kaitlyn Dever: The actress has appeared in “Justified” and “Short Term 12,” and her upcoming projects include Jason Reitman’s “Men, Women and Children” and “Laggies” with Keira Knightley.
Eve Hewson: The daughter of Ali Hewson and Bono, Eve is currently appearing in the Steven Soderbergh series “The Knick” and has been cast in Steven Spielberg’s untitled cold war thriller.

Caleb Landry Jones: You can catch this “Friday Night Lights” alum in “Lowdown” and “Queen and Country.”
Lola Kirke: The sister of “Girls” star Jemima Kirke, she can soon to be seen in “Gone Girl” as well as films by Scott Hicks and Noah Baumbach.
Jack O’Connell: The British actor is currently starring in “Starred Up” and is also the lead in “Unbroken” directed by Angelina Jolie.
Tye Sheridan: The star of “Mud” and “Tree of Life,” Sheridan has a busy year ahead of him with at least seven films set for release.
Steven Gaydos, Vice President and Executive Editor of Variety, will moderate Meet the Actors: 10 Actors to Watch on Sunday, October 12 at 10 a.m. at Guild Hall.
