Manhattan-based FitzGerald Fine Arts is entering the Hamptons art scene this July with the launch of its newest gallery.
“FitzGerald Fine Arts is pleased to introduce its newly opened Southampton gallery located at 20 Jobs Lane, directly across from the influential Southampton Arts Center,” shared Art Director, Justin Warner.
Established in 2007, FitzGerald Fine Arts highlights Asian art that showcases traditional forms of the past through art that explores the artist’s interpretations of these mediums, techniques and motifs through contemporary aesthetics and contextual underpinnings.
FitzGerald Fine Arts will celebrate the new Southampton gallery during an opening reception for its Contemporary Asian Art exhibition on Saturday, July 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“For this special opening, FitzGerald Fine Arts will be showcasing seminal works by contemporary Asian artists: Gan Daofu, Hui Chi Lee, Jared FitzGerald, Han Bing, Zhang Guojun and Zhu Di. Also on view will be signature pieces from renowned Fine Art Jewelry Designers: Ariana Boussard-Reifel, Jayne Moore, Matthias Dathe, Rochenne Sol Kogan, and Olia Toporovsky,” shared Warner.
In addition to showing in Southampton for the season, FitzGerald Fine Arts will also be opening a new space in SoHo this coming fall and will continue showing at 41 Greene Street in New York City.
Throughout the summer season, the gallery plans to host a number of events, exhibitions, lectures and more.
