CW Seed, the station’s digital network launched three new series for online viewers and began a new season of “Husbands.”
“Backpackers” tells the story of Ryan (Noah Reid) and Beth (Meghan Heffern,) a newly engaged couple that travels to Europe to get over their case of cold feet. Each has permission to act single while they travel separately throughout the continent. After spending a party with his womanizing best friend Brandon (Dillon Casey,) Ryan realizes that he has made a huge mistake and takes it upon himself to find Beth who is somewhere else in Europe.
“The P.E.T. Squad Files” stars John Dale and Michael Hobert as friends who are on a mission to find aliens on Earth. Spencer (Dale) is seriously committed to the cause while Courtney (Hobert) really just wants his chance at fame.
“Gallery Mallory” is an animated series that revolves around 20-something-year-old Mallory who does the bare minimum of work required at a Soho art gallery. Meanwhile, she continuously encounters different celebrities like Maury Povich, Chris Bosh, Mischa Collins, Kat Graham and Whitney Port.
“Husbands” is returning for another season. Tabloids magnet Cheeks (show creator Brad Bell) and athlete Brady (Sean Hemeon) are getting ready to actually say their vows in a new ceremony after their accidental drunken wedding but guest star Amy Acker, who plays Brady’s ex-fiancé, shows up with an agenda.
Other digital series including “LA Rangers” and “Stupid Hype” will debut on the CW Seed later this fall.
