Kate Mueth and The Neo-Political Cowgirls (NPC) have joined forces with Michael Daly of Douglas Elliman Real Estate and Dean Miller of Dean Miller Real Estate to host The NPC’s latest show, Voyeur, at an exceptionally unique location.
On Saturday, March 16, The Grace Estate, a prestigious $9.995 million waterfront estate in East Hampton, will serve home to an immersive theater experience, set to music, that explores “the essence and pressure of secrets in our day-to-day existence.”
“Voyeur is our fourth installation of this style of theater- publicly watching the private,” Mueth noted. “NPC’s Voyeur has had past incarnations at Guild Hall, the Springs Blacksmith barn, and in Berlin, Germany.”
“I have also known Kate Mueth for years, and have worked with her several times in the past, notably producing Eve at LTV Studios and a few other immersive dance theater events. When walking through the house in preparation for listing, the grand and spacious layout and traditional décor of the home struck me as a perfect venue to introduce to Kate for a possible immersive event,” Daly noted. “I mentioned the idea to Dean (the owner of the property) and he thought it was a terrific idea and, fortunately, so did Kate!”
The “Roaming Theatrical Immersion of Publicly Watching the Private” will feature a Hamptons and New York City actors, including Josh Gladstone, Quinn Jackson, Susan Stout, Charlie Westfal, Sarah Azzara, Michael Versandi and more.
“This elegant home and exquisite property at The Grace Estate is a fascinating backdrop for exploring this 40 minute, music-driven immersive experience of the exploration of secrets and human behavior around secrecy,” Mueth said. “Audiences begin in the basement level with drinks and finger food, are guided through the ground floor then roam the top floor to follow and watch performers room to room.”
There will be four opportunities to be a part of this Voyeur iteration – at 4:30, 6:00, 7:30, and 9 p.m. Each session is open to 32 people who will be separated into three groups.
“We’re doing this as a fun way to provide a space for the super talented Kate Mueth and her Neo-Political Cowgirls immersive dance theater group. NPC is a non-profit theater group and Dean and I both support a wide array of non-profits,” Daly added.
The entry fee is $26 per person, which includes adult beverages and finger food.
