The wait is over—the new bar Kizzy T’s is bringing late-night food and foosball back to East Hampton! From the team at KPasa and Kumiso, the new bar has the invaluable benefit of experienced owners who know how to have success in the Hamptons. Just in time for the off-season, sporting a fresh Japanese-influenced concept, late-night kitchen, and a game room.
Located at 47 Montauk Highway, it’s convenient for anywhere in the Hamptons, and they’ve definitely got the pull with their unique offerings and vibe. If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for this moment for too long. If you wanted to eat a late dinner or play foosball the past few summers, you had to go all the way to Montauk!
They just opened a few weeks ago, so you know that they are looking to build strong local relationships. Overall, they’ve done all the little things that make a new bar feel like a neighborhood staple—friendly service, good lighting (not too dark, not too bright), late-night food, and, of course, Foosball.
The game room is a big hit and I ran into 3 different groups of friends on my last visit. The pool table is brand new, plus a dart board and shuffleboard! They’ve got plenty of space for additions, so I wouldn’t be surprised if more games are in the works. Pinball anyone??
Here is something special: the kitchen stays open late, till around 11 pm. Where else can you get food that late in East Hampton?? This is a big deal for people who like French fries after a few drinks (that’s everyone), but even more important for those in the service industry. Where do you get to eat dinner if you work during dinner? Having Kizzy T as an option is a real luxury.
The food pairs perfectly with the Japanese aesthetic and vibe, but it still has classic American bar fare—you’ll love the edamame as a side with the fried chicken sandwich. It’s a strong concept and definitely needed in this part of the Hamptons.
The game room is tucked away in its own room, separate from the bar and dining areas. You could 100% go out for a dinner date or get a few drinks, even if you’re not game for billiards or foosball.
I’m so glad to have a new local YEAR-ROUND neighborhood bar in East Hampton, that’s not even to mention how much I dig their Japanese theme and food. Lining the walls are iconic Japanese-influenced posters and pop culture references, a great reminder to re-read Akira or check out the new Shin Godzilla movie!
Speaking of Foosball, you can trust that I’m going to try and start a foosball night this winter! Don’t worry: Spinning is allowed (hot take, I know). If you’d like to join, send me an email so we can try to set up a Foosball Night!
