We’ll take you through the trendy hotspots that attract celebrities and socialites, hidden local haunts, bars with breathtaking ocean views, live music and DJs, innovative mixologists, classic cocktails, and (obviously) ice-cold rose!

Whether you prefer a bustling atmosphere where you can dance the night away or a more relaxed ambiance, the Hamptons bar scene will exceed your expectations. Your Hamptons adventure doesn’t stop when the sunsets, our Toast to the Summer Guide will help you elevate every evening with the vibrant nightlife of the Hamptons!

DREAM — Hampton Bays

Late Nite | DJ | Epic

Looking for a great place to party in the Hamptons? Then DREAM is the perfect place for you! Featuring an epic sound system and great lighting, so you can enjoy the party all night long. Great service, great drinks and live music. My favorite place for a party is the Hamptons, you can dance on the main floor or under the summer stars on the outdoor patio equipped with a full sound system.

The Sagaponack Farm Distillery — Sagaponack

Day drinking | Craft Cocktails | Family Friendly

My favorite spot for an early evening or afternoon drink. Craft cocktails, local spirits, unbeatable vibe. Bring your family and lots of space for kids to run around outside. The Distillery hosts an impressive summer event series with exciting local collaborations and live music. One of my favorite locations in the Hamptons; especially in the evening, I can’t think of a more serene setting.

75 Main — Southampton Village

Chic | Club | Late Night Kitchen

75 Main is a chic bar and restaurant located in Southampton, New York. It offers a stylish atmosphere, delicious drinks, and a menu of elevated bar bites. Featured on Bravo’s “Serving the Hamptons,” this is a great place to people-watch. Whether you’re looking for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap, 75 Main is the perfect spot. Recent renovations in 2023 have expanded the bar substantially – make sure you check it out this Summer!

Almond — Bridgehampton

Classic | Martini | Relaxing

Classic bar and grill in the heart of Bridgehampton. The last time I sat down at the bar, I spoke with a bartender who has been there for more than 25 years. We chatted about life in the area and local legends, and I had the best martini (with blue cheese olives)  I can remember. Classy. You’ll find me here for happy hour on a weekday night with a cocktail while I wait for traffic to die down. This is a bar review, but their food is incredible.

Murfs Backstreet Tavern — Sag Harbor Village

Iconic | Raucus | Fun

One of the most iconic bars in the Hamptons, this rustic cabin is a throwback to a time when Sag Harbor was home to more than 25 bars. Murfs is always a good time with a devoted local crew and some of the hardest-working bartenders I’ve ever known. The large backyard courtyard is centered around a ring toss game that will keep you entertained for way longer than you thought. Tired of upscale and fancy? Murfs is a true dive bar with all the character and charm you could ever want in a bar.

Wölffer Estate Vinyard — Southampton Town

Elegant | Upscale | Somme

World-renowned vineyard home to the iconic Summer in a Bottle. The Tasting Room is an elegant and refined space with chic, seasonal furnishings and amazing service. Opening at 11 am every day of the week, the Tasting Room is a great way to enjoy an afternoon overlooking the vineyard. Make sure you check out their in-venue wine store!

The Blue Parrot — East Hampton Village

Beachy | Outdoor Patio | Margaritas

Loved by locals and visitors alike for its chill vibe, great nachos, and STRONG margaritas. Featuring a bright, beachy concept and a large covered patio, The Parrot is a great place to meet old friends and make new ones. Sitting in a small nook just off Main Street in East Hampton Village, the Blue Parrot is big enough that you’ll have space inside and outside while still remaining cozy and comfortable.

Bostwick’s Chowder House — East Hampton Town

Daytime | Seafood | Friendly

One of the best restaurants in the Hamptons, the Chowder House’s bar is the perfect place for an afternoon drink and some baked clams. Every time I go, I meet new interesting people, and the bar staff is super friendly. My favorite bar for an after-beach trip; the atmosphere is easy to love and non-pretentious. The bar is cozy, but there is plenty of room on the side patio, with bar access. Say hi to Robbie at the bar!

The Springs Tavern — Springs

Local Haunt | Great Food | Spacious

Charming neighborhood bar in the center of Springs. Recently renovated and serving great food, the bar is always filled with friendly locals from around Springs. Be warned – the shots are BIG, but they have a great Tequila selection (No Casa Amigos!!), so bottoms up!

Rosies — Amagansett

Cosmopolitan | Late Night Food | Great Music

Rosie’s is the Hamptons’ “Goldilocks bar”—not too crowded and not too empty; not too fancy and not too dive-y; not Murfs and not Mobys—Rosies is just right! That makes it sound like the bar is defined by what it isn’t, but that isn’t true. Rosies’ identity is entirely its own, and I always feel right at home with the other clientele. Rosie’s finds the right balanced mix of cosmopolitan and coastal-casual sensibilities—eating, drinking, and togethering—perfectly representing the Hamptons.

Dive Bar Pizza — Amagansett

Pizza | Billiards | Late Nite

Cannot recommend this bar enough! Definitely my favorite pizza in the Hamptons. You can smell the ocean on the breezy front porch and grab pizza by the slice directly from the kitchen in the courtyard. Inside, the atmosphere is easy-going, with the walls covered in polaroids of regulars and band flyers; you will definitely feel at home here.  Love all the graffiti on the walls, apparently it’s WIll & Jerf’s favorite bar! The Hamptons-only sports bar, Dive Bar Pizza is a great place for families during the day, they even have a Skate Park! Live music multiple times each week. Plenty of indoor-outdoor space, billiards, and a Mortal Kombat machine!

The Montauket — Montauk

Sunsets | Live Music | Busy

No bar compares to the sunset views from the Montauket overlooking For Pond Bay to the West. Named after the Native American Tribe from eastern Long Island, the bar speaks to the Hamptons’ history as a fishing community. Also, they have a mega cute thrift store onsite! Great atmosphere, bands play outside, and a double-sided bar lets you order drinks from the patio.

Myron Goldfinger, renowned modernist architect, passed away this Summer at 90. Gaining prominence, especially in the Hamptons, for designing weekend escapes and monumental modern estates. Still highly sought-after today, the Goldfinger-designed estate at 43 Sandune Court, Sagaponack, hallmarks and honors the architect’s innumerable gifts.

  • Enjoy the Warmth of Community This Fall at LongHouse

LongHouse Reserve is unbelievably beautiful. Whether you’re here for the summer or visiting from out of town, LongHouse is a must-visit. It’s not just a place for art but a true community hub offering tranquility and a chance to marvel at nature’s wonders. It’s a sanctuary of peace.

This fall, there’s a buzz in the air, thanks to the efforts of LongHouse director Carrie Rebora Barratt, who is a relatively new local herself. She’s been working to create more engaging community events and has extended LongHouse’s open season well into the fall and possibly even the winter. @longhousereserve

  • The place is the old Astro’s, and it looks pretty much the same except all the seating is now by the windows, and there are no tables. You can go in for slices, and overall, it’s a pretty typical pizza joint with a more retro vibe. But what’s great about this pizza is that it is thin and has a crispness to it that you don’t get anywhere else in the Hamptons. This means that even if you devour half a pie, you don’t walk away feeling bloated and like death is imminent, but you just feel really full from good pizza.

Everything is fresh, and the overall vibe is trendy. You have to go. I gave it an 8.4. #pizza #pizzatime #pizzalover #hamptons #finipizza
  • Special Screening of Love…Reconsidered, A Hamptons-Based Romantic Comedy

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will be hosting a premiere of the film Love…Reconsidered on Saturday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the Mollie Parnis Auditorium. This is the charming romantic comedy starring Sophie von Haselberg, Judy Gold, Marisa Ryan, Elaine Bromka, Luke Gulbranson, and Colton Haynes, set between New York City and Southampton.

Love…Reconsidered is based on Arielle Haller-Silverstone’s true love/life story, and she wrote the screenplay after losing her job during the pandemic where she then moved to the Hamptons. Haller-Silverstone is the co-owner of Le Closet, a curated consignment store, with locations in Southampton and New York City, and she can’t wait to premiere this film at WHBPAC and connect with viewers.

The screening will also include a panel discussion with the filmmakers moderated by Kate Schumacher and Carinn Jade of the well-known podcast Pop Fiction Women. They will dive into the film’s characters and the complicated lives they lead, along with the filmmaking process that brought this movie to life on the screen. Arielle Haller-Silverstone spoke more about her inspiration for the screenplay, her background, and what she is most looking forward to for the screening.

Congratulations on your film Love…Reconsidered. Can you talk about the story behind this film and where your inspiration came from to write the screenplay?

Arielle Haller-Silverstone: I lost my job during COVID and started Le Closet from my studio apartment in Hell’s Kitchen. On a total whim, my dad knew a broker that knew a broker in Southampton, and I decided to give it a shot. I schlepped all of the clothes from NYC and opened on Windmill Lane (where the store still is today!). I knew there was a script within this story and had to make a movie. @whbpac
