"Art Groove combines the interaction of musical, performance and visual art creating a fun, unique, modern social experience," explained Geralyne Lewandowski.
"Developing bold new work from fresh voices is at the heart of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation's mission," said Anne Chaisson.
The Festival is paying tribute to a documentary pioneer, Albert Maysles, who directed "Iris."
The series, which is written and directed by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, will join Nexflix hits "House of Cards," "Orange Is the New Black," and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."
"We are proud to support The Retreat and raise awareness for the only domestic violence agency on the East End, as they continue to provide safety, shelter and support to the victims of domestic abuse, and seek to break the cycle of family violence," said Richard Demato, The Retreat Board Member and owner of RJD Gallery.
"Our exhibitions display a range of art works including painting, sculpture and photography," noted Dom Lamontanaro, PhD, President of SAA.
"The exhibition, 'Audacity of Abstraction,' comprises works by five diverse artists, Shari Abramson, Gerson Leiber, Dennis Leri, Roy Nicholson, and Dan Welden, each giving personal vision to the theme," Arlene Bujese, curator of the exhibit.
"They are the rock stars of this cinematic movement," expressed Andrea Grover, Century Arts Foundation Curator of Special Projects.
"I can't think of a more perfect assembly for this intimate conversation about the life and work of Robert Dash," said Alicia Longwell, who first met the artist in the 1980s.
