"'Word Up: Long Island LitFest' is a day to disconnect from gadgets and connect with each other," said LitFest founder and producer, Claudia Gryvatz Copquin.
"'Duo Tuo' is an occasion for Kirsten and I to show some of our various new works that feature the diversity of styles and subjects that we both enjoy exploring in our art," noted artist Jerry Schwabe.
The East End artists community is back for another round of exciting performances during their 2015 debut showcase.
"This is free and anyone is invited to attend - the more the merrier," noted Jennifer Brondo, General Manager-Associate for Theater Education at Guild Hall.
"In the end its not who wins but it's an opportunity for everyone in the community to see how creative and talented many of our youth can be," said Tracy Kolsin, Assistant Youth Bureau Director of Town of Southampton.
"My reason for portraying the life cycle of the orchid is to understand life through observing nature: being born, growing, maturing, ripening, then slowly fading, lowering one's head and dying," said artist Marissa Bridge.
