"The competition for the Garlic Eating Contest will be fierce, as well as the kids who will contend the Garlic Iron Chef Contest, and we may even have a Garlic Cannon!" noted Eve Kaplan-Walbrecht.
"Our theme 'Eat Global...Cook Local' is important and relevant to all of us, especially out here on the East End of Long Island," noted Geoffrey Drummond.
"As members of this community invested in building a sustainable regional food system, they have much to offer those curious about eating and purchasing local food," said Heather Meehan.
"It's right on the lake so the view is beautiful," noted Ken Giustino.
Not sure what to serve at your LDW gathering?
"Robin Hood will provide kits that give families all of the information they need to set up a stand," noted Marc Smrikarov.
"It may sound strange, but it turns out the solution to most of our environmental and health problems is right beneath our feet - soil," the filmmakers stated.
"When the opening of our FiDi location of Brooklyn Chop House got pushed to September, we jumped at the opportunity to preview our restaurant in Southampton," reflected operator Stratis Morfogen.
"Definitely ending my summer in the Hamptons on a high note and hope that folks with come out to celebrate and enjoy a fun brunch," Chef McGarry noted.
"ECI is hosting a Farmers' Market lunch because the best way to know the quality of what you are eating is to shop for locally sourced produce," noted Mia Fasanella.
