"It's amazing we are in our 7th year. When we launched the Derby food trucks were just coming on the scene. They are more mainstreamed now but the event is still really unique. Especially because we don't have many food trucks on the East End," said Edible East End publisher Brian Halweil.
"We really enjoy the combination of pleasure and purpose that it brings to us," Marilyn Platzer told Hamptons.com.
"Did you see the menu that I made for tonight? There are ten chefs so there are a lot of choices!" Chef Pépin told us.
"We're looking forward to another magical evening of delicious local food, lively conversation, great music and stories, and the best sunset on the East End," Jess Tonn said.
"We'll be making a few of my favorite dishes from my new cookbook, Playing With Fire, which is all about live-fire cooking — perfect for a backyard BBQ out East!" Symon noted.
"The show is a collection of images, both still and in motion, curated to engage fresh conversations and explore fun and new perspectives for how we view wine," Vanessa Price explained.
"Get ready for some bourbon and bluegrass!" Lakshmi told Hamptons.com about the next season of Top Chef.
"I was born and it was probably part of my DNA," Pépin told us.
"Montauk has become a foodie destination gaining a lot of press attention in recent years," noted Laraine Creegan. "Montauk has been attracting top restaurateurs and chefs including outstanding home-grown ones, who love our hamlet to work and play."
"We want people to feel like they're part of our story and part of our growth and 'come as you are' functioned perfectly for that," Vaughan Cutillo told Hamptons.com.
