"It was very glamorous, it was very different from anywhere else," Dr. Wednesday Martin said about the inspiration for her book. "I decided right away that I wanted to figure out what made them tick."

"It's such an accomplishment that the girls were able to ride the horses even though the horses were afraid," noted Maureen Bluedorn.

"It's really about people talking and enjoying why East Hampton is so beautiful," said Richard Barons.

It's not just fun in the sun for Nina Agdal, who recently showed off her competitive side along with Washington Nationals' Bryce Harper.

"People really loved the party," said Julie Ratner. "The East End of Long Island has one of the highest rates of diagnosis and mortality in the state. So this is important work."

Two years ago when renowned UK author Robert Lacey gave a PowerPoint presentation for the Maidstone's lecture series, 'Sundays at the Maidstone,' Robert brought the legendary Eileen Ford, along with her daughter, Lacey Williams (Lacey's husband John created "Shrek") to dinner afterwards at the Maidstone Club.

"This benefit is crucial to East End Hospice's economic well-being and priceless to Hospice in terms of raising public awareness," shared Theresa Murphy.

"The setting will be spectacular, the food delicious, and the music glorious," shared Kayce Freed Jennings.

"Since Eileen Roaman helped found The Seedlings Project in 2001, the Seedlings program has developed more of our philosophy at Project MOST After School," noted Susan Gentile Hackett.

"We have a choice - protect the nature of this very special place or allow it to be ruined," noted benefit co-chair Katherine Birch.
