"The Secret Service arrives and we find the Clintons a 'safe' spot and Jimmy starts performing. He finishes his first song, there is a loud pop, and the lights go out," Honerkamp recounted.

While we can't gather with friends and family this Memorial Day weekend, there's plenty of entertaining activities to take in at home.

"We are so excited to be able to bring some of our favorite acts for a really fun and exciting show!" Anita Boyer & Kasia Klimiuk expressed.

"Fundraisers and events have been canceled across our Nation due to COVID-19. Most 501(c)(3) nonprofits like the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation rely heavily on fundraisers and events to help meet their annual operating budgets," remarked Kate McEntee.

"SFEE, as well as all the world, is watching and doing our best to diligently in quelling the spread of COVID-19. When this has passed, we look forward to breaking bread together, to give and get hugs and support the beautiful East End," Pennie Schwartz said.

"Please join us for our annual SPAY-ghetti event. It's sure to be a great time for an even greater cause - controlling our feral cat population on the East End," Barbara Maresca said.

"He doesn't conduct from music. He knows it all and it just flows from him," Double Bassist Naomi Shaham said about Maestro Iván Fischer.

"We're enormously grateful to the musicians, the Talkhouse, and Fred Raimondo for donating their time and talents to our benefit concert," Jess Tonn said.

"On this 250 anniversary," said Ryan Corrick Brown, "we are exploring not only why Beethoven is relevant today but whether there is something new to say about him.

"Both locals and visitors of the region are in store for some amazing experiences based around the taste, sounds and sights of the Hamptons this winter," Glenn O. Vickers II noted.
