This season, Executive Chef Sam McCleland at The Beacon has added a variety of seasonal dishes to compliment Beacon classics. The Sag Harbor restaurant opened for the season on Thursday, May 15.
The menu boasts dishes inspired by American, Mediterranean, and Asian flavors. While McCleland has added a few new options, favorites like steamed mussels “Beacon Style” with garlic, white wine, lemon-thyme, cream and tomatoes; crispy fish tacos with salsa verde, jack cheese and tomato emulsion; lobster rigatoni with aged cheddar, roasted corn, basil and cream; oven-roasted chicken with braised shallots, julienne carrots and smoked bacon-pecorino risotto; and a pan-seared local tilefish with exotic mushrooms, asparagus, fingerling potatoes and wasabi-tobiko shrimp butter still remain a delectable choice.
The restaurant will be open Wednesday through Monday, serving dinner from 6 p.m. to close. Beginning in July, The Beacon will also be open for lunch.
The Beacon is located at 8 West Water Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, call 631-725-7088 or visit www.beaconsagharbor.com.
