As restaurants begin to open while following social distancing guidelines, there’s a new hotspot coming to the Hamptons scene. The owners of the beloved Southampton Social Club and Union Burger Bar, Ian Duke and David Hilty, are unveiling the hottest new dining destination: Union Sushi and Steak. This restaurant will be a modern take on the classic steakhouse. Located on the Bowden Square property, Union Sushi and Steak blends the qualities of a local village pub with the energy of a supper club. It’s exactly what the community needs to spice up the restaurant culture!
Award-winning Chef Scott Kampf and Marc Fasciana will be taking the cuisine culture to the next level as they cook up French American inspired food. You can expect to taste dry aged steaks from Niman Ranch in Colorado and assorted fresh sushi and sashimi.
“The inspiration behind Union Sushi & Steak is actually quite similar to what inspired Southampton Social Club. The idea of a one stop shop. A place you could go for a drink, dine and then enjoy an evening of some high class nightlife in a ‘Supper Club’ sort of atmosphere,” Duke noted.
While Union Sushi & Steak are heating up for the summer, you can still stop by Union Burger Bar for American comfort food. The new restaurant will have a sophisticated feel, all while staying true to the Hamptons vibe.
“Union Sushi & Steak addresses the three basic needs we see here: Southampton’s need for an authentic steakhouse experience, a need for year round, consistent sushi and a place for nightlife for perhaps a more mature or seasoned group…like me for example,” he added. “Union Sushi and Steak provides that and more in an elegance meets rugged sort of setting with right in the heart of Southampton. We’re very excited to bring you….Union Sushi & Steak.”
