This holiday season, Wรถlffer Estate Vineyard is presenting a special Lighting of the Vines Charity Wreath Auction, held in support of the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center.
“All of the profits from the fifteen beautifully decorated festive wreaths designed by local artists, designers, and business owners will be donated to Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, an organization that is dear to Joey Wรถlffer,” the Wรถlffer team explained. “The Center continues to serve the community’s children and families with educational and enrichment programs – along with providing food to 700 individuals in need weekly.”
“We are so grateful for our growing relationship with Joey Wรถlffer and the Wรถlffer family. Last summer’s line of clothing and special VOTE bag to benefit The Center, and the wonderful talk at the vineyard with Christy Turlington meant so much to all of us at The Center, especially during this year with none of our traditional fundraising events being possible,” expressed Bonnie Michelle Cannon, Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center Executive Director. “We are all looking forward to making this holiday cheerful. Wreaths are such a welcoming joy. Here’s hoping for your most successful Wreath Auction ever. Thank you Joey for caring about our work.”
Lighting of the Vines Charity Wreath designers include Ovando Floral, English Country Home, Joey Wรถlffer, Thayer’s Hardware & Patio, East Hampton Gardens, Urban Zen/Tutto Il Giorno, Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, Wolfman-Gold Design, The Bridgehampton Florist, Claire Bean Events, Lukas Machnik Design, Blue Carreon Home, Don Lemon and Tim Malone, Ryland Life Equipment, and Roses and Rice.
“We are honored that the Wรถlffer Estate Vineyard has chosen The Center as the recipient of proceeds from their annual wreath auction,” Gia de Picciotto, Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center Advisory Board Chair, noted. “Joey Wรถlffer continues to be a bright light for The Center this holiday season, and we are grateful for her friendship and support.”
Bidding will start at $150 for certain wreaths and $200 for others – or if you don’t want to loose out on the beautiful creation, you can purchase it outright for $800.
“We enjoy being a part of the community and have always been passionate about giving back and supporting local causes,” Ryland Hilbert, Ryland Life Equipment Founder, noted. “The wreath auction at Wรถlffer is a fun, festive event which directly benefits those in our community.”
Wreaths will be available to view online and at Wรถlffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack.
The Charity Wreath Auction is typically held during the Lighting of the Vines ceremony. While the beloved seasonal soiree isn’t taking place this year because of the pandemic, the beautifully illuminated vines can still be admired nightly starting around 4:30 p.m./5:00 p.m. “Although we will not be hosting our annual Lighting of the Vines Event this year, to keep us in the holiday spirit we’ll continue to illuminate our sprawling Sagaponack grapevines to celebrate the season!” Wolffer team added.
Bidding has been extended to Thursday, December 10.
