Those looking for a fun and low-maintenance evening activity for all ages this August can rejoice, as the Southampton Chamber of Commerce presents its 7th Annual Drive-In Movie Nights at Coopers Beach.
This summer, the movie nights will take place on Monday, August 1st, Monday, August 8th and Tuesday, August 16th, with cinematic selections for everyone. The screenings will kick-off on August 1st with Home, a heartwarming family-friendly animated flick about an unlikely friendship between a young girl (Rihanna) and an alien (Jim Parsons) who is a little different from everyone else. The relationship blooms as they battle obstacles to find her mother.

The Chamber of Commerce will present Brooklyn next. Set in the 1950s in New York, the film follows an Irish immigrant (Saorise Ronan), who falls for an Italian plumber (Emory Cohen), but is tempted by a man from her past (Domhnall Gleeson) when she returns to her homeland for a visit.
Finally, the series will end on a more kid-friendly note, as the Chamber presents the final movie of the series, How to Train Your Dragon 2, the sequel to the beloved animated movie of the same name. The film will bring back everyone’s favorite characters from the original movie, five years later in time, as it follows them on a journey full of new adventures and new dragons and characters.
