Quogue Library kicks off their 2018 summer series “Conversations with Authors” on Sunday, July 8 with New York Times bestseller A.J. Finn.
“This highly anticipated summer series keeps getting better and better. This year’s lineup is the most diverse and entertaining yet,” shared Library Director Lonna Theiling.
While at Quogue Library, Finn will be discussing his bestseller, The Woman in the Window – which was lauded as “unputdownable” by author Stephen King, reading excerpts from the novel, and taking part in a Q and A with the audience. Additionally, there will be a wine and cheese reception as well as a meet and greet with Finn.
The Woman in the Window is a “smart, sophisticated novel of psychological suspense that recalls the best of Hitchcock.” The novel follows Anna Fox, a recluse unable to leave her New York City home. When the Russells move in nearby, Fox witnesses something she shouldn’t have, leading to the demise of the world around her. But, what is real and what is a figment of her imagination?
Additional Conversations with Authors” will feature The Summer Before the War author Helen Simonson, Movie Nights with the Reagans author Mark Weinberg, The Banker’s Wife author Cristina Alger, My Ex-Life author Stephen McCauley, and Sorority author Genevieve Sly Crane.
“I am happy to say four of these best-selling authors have East End ties and the press for these books has been fantastic!” added Selina Pasca, Adult Programming Coordinator. “Many of the titles have been chosen for hot summer beach reading from a few well noted publications with Cristina Alger’s mystery coming out the week she arrives for her reading its very exciting! The Woman in the Window is set for filming in NY this summer —I cannot wait for July 8th!”
“Conversations with Authors” will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available at the library. Seating is limited.
