"To all of us at the Montauk Observatory, this work is important because it not only puts people in closer touch with the universe around them, but with each other," said Donna McCormick.
"I've seen growth in geographic areas previously less desirable, along with buyers' less reliant on proximity to the ocean," noted DePersia.
This election, perhaps more than any in recent history, is surely an impetus to get up, get out and exercise your right to vote.
"During the winter season, employment is scarce and the need for food and warm clothing increases," noted Robert Chaloner, the Hospital's President and CEO.
"When you are with family and friends this holiday season, we hope you will have shared your good fortune with your neighbors whose lives have been disrupted by domestic violence," said Loretta K. Davis.
"These spaces inspire hands-on activity, creativity, play and plenty of time exploring the natural world," said Heather Fox.
"There is a real science to understanding fall color, and it can be quite fascinating," shared Alex Feleppa.
"What attracted me to SASF was its story - how a committed group of individuals in this community stepped and took over a municipal shelter and turned it into one of the most respected animal welfare organizations in the region," Jerry Rosenthal said.
"The need has been growing over the years. We distribute the second Tuesday of the month, and easily 100 or more people show up," said Francis Ecker, who founded the Montauk Food Pantry 30 years ago.
"They do so many great things for people. It's just nice to give back to them," said Julie Kazdin Boucher.
