"Maintaining a private flyer polluter club at public expense is pretty hard to defend," said Barry Raebeck, PhD.

"It is a great opportunity to showcase our arts organizations, merchants and restaurants and let people experience the beauty of Southampton Village at one of the best times of the year," said Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley.
Saturday's jam-packed schedule of entertaining happenings is not to be missed.
The Festival's closing day will feature good eats, arts, live music and much more.
"Come join us on September 29 and hear about entrepreneur Kathleen King's success story!" encourage League Special Events committee co-chairs Gladys Remler and Joanne Samborn.
"This group is set up to give support to a new mom who may need some guidance with her newborn," explained Marie Yervasi.
"Our first ever Fall Festival features pumpkin decorating, face painting, miniature pony cart rides, games for kids, beautiful mums, jams and baked goods, food and beverages, beer and wine," noted Mary Castro.
"Boot Camp Against Bullying is a great community-driven event bringing together local Hamptonites as a way to stomp out bullying," explained Robert Vitelli.
"After the success of last year's Big Truck Day, making this an annual event was an easy decision," said Steve Long, the Museum's president. "Besides, I'm sure I'm not the only parent with a child who is absolutely wild about trucks."
