"Thanks to many supportive people, over the past decade we've raised more than $25 million," shared Linda Argila.

Year after year, attendees exclaim, "WOW!!! My family had a great day!" notes Hampton Bays Civic Association Vice President, Maria Hults.

"The southern pine beetle invasion, more severe weather patterns and acid rain have already begun to damage our local environment," noted Frank Quevedo.

"It provides so much fun for the children as they can ride it over and over free," explained Laraine Creegan.

"This event is both a paddle, and a party," shared Kimberly Barbour, Marine Program Outreach Manager at Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Suffolk County.

"In the spirit of the Old Whalers Festival, there will be Whaleboat races, live music, old fashioned children's games, raffles, and an amazing assortment of food as Long Wharf is transformed into the largest Block Party over the water," shared Lisa Field.

"The Montauk community has graciously opened their arms to us and made us feel like family and we are forever grateful for that," said Steven Lippman.

"For many homeless, they choose to live on the streets with their animals as they do not want to be separated from them and this, of course, poses a number of veterinary health challenges," explained Jennifer Goodwin.

"One thing that we do see trending is the laidback and casual ambiance," shared John Kowalenko and Cheryl Stair. "Passed hors d'oeuvres are a thing of the past."

The goal of the Progressive School is to "teach the whole child - physically, mentally and spiritually - to teach a child so that he can put what he has learned into practice using all of his intelligences, to value product, not just scores."
