The time to say goodby to rosé season has arrived.
We can't think of a better way to say goodbye to summer than with a beach clambake.
"We have brought in some amazing food vendors this year," said Executive Director of the Hampton Classic Shanette Cohen. "They will satisfy anyone's hunger. I can't wait to try them all!"
Long Island wineries use "approximately 15 percent of their grapes for rosé with the reds and whites taking up most of the grape harvest," according to Gabriella Macari.
"Southampton's locavore movement began 10,000 years ago when Paleo-Indians came to Long Island to hunt wildlife," said Ted Edmonds.
"Our goal is to promote local businesses even more by working with and showcasing local farms and artisans," explained Steven Jauffrineau.
If lemonade is your summer sip of choice, you're in luck because National Lemonade Day falls on Saturday, August 20th.
"Who would have thought that a group of mobile vendors gathering in a Bridgehampton potato field would become one of the most anticipated, family-friendly foodie events of the summer?" asked Michaela Johnson.
"I love the versatility of it by being able to create any flavor combination and use fresh-in season ingredients," Rachel Flatley said.
The Four Seasons restaurant, the ultimate Power Lunch locale, hadn't even been closed a month. But there was a hole in its habitués hearts.
