The "Give It 2 U" singer celebrated 4th of July weekend by introducing an impromptu performance from a "true legend."

Taking place in the gardens of the historic Thomas Halsey Homestead, the entertaining lawn party is open to all.

"Our 26th Annual Summer Gala Benefit is our most important fundraiser of the year, ensuring the long-term sustainability of Sofo," expressed Diana Aceti.

The benefit will include bites from over 30 chefs, the largest number of culinary gurus showcased at "A Hamptons Happening" yet.

The Gala will include a premiere concert reading of the first act of "The Prince of Egypt."

Parrish Art Museum director Terrie Sultan will host the Museum's annual Midsummer Party.

Emmy Award-winning NBC anchor and correspondent Chuck Scarborough is serving as the evening's Master of Ceremonies.
