"For 35 years, Garden Party has been The Center's vibrant kick-off to Pride week, honoring our amazing Center volunteers and supporters," remarked Executive Director Glennda Testone.

In addition to bringing out the best in golf, the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Course in Southampton brought out some notable names.

"We're excited to hold our Annual Get Wild! Benefit for the 12th year in a row, this year in collaboration with hosts Joan and Bernard Carl. It's important for us to recognize the continued efforts of everyone involved with The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center," said Shelley Berkoski, Director of Development.

"Because of the kids who aren't able to find support, it's important for us to help organizations like Hetrick-Martin Institute who are parenting and being of service to these young kids who deserve to have epic lives," said Tracy Anderson, American fitness entrepreneur. "They deserve to express themselves outwardly as they do inwardly."

"This year, we honored the leadership of women working in our zoos (Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo), our New York Aquarium in Coney Island, and in our field conservation programs in more than 60 nations and across the world's ocean," remarked Paula Hayes, Executive Vice President of the Wildlife Conservation Society's Global Resources.

"Jazz for Jennings is the reincarnation of Jazz at Jennings, the benefit for The Center that Peter and I hosted for many years at our home," said Kayce Freed Jennings.

"The much anticipated 22nd Annual Hamptons Heart Ball is a great way to kick off the summer in the Hamptons as well as raise awareness and funds to help fight cardiovascular diseases and stroke," said Barbara Poliwoda.
