"Each year, more than 1,000 people attend this event. Our hope is that each one takes something away with them to make them heart healthy," said Kathy Munsch.

"The New York City Mission Society makes a real - and lasting - difference in the lives of so many New Yorkers. Tonight, we are not just throwing a party; we are helping children," Shafiroff told the room.

"Every time Katy's Kids meets at the Children's Museum, we are reminded that the role of play in helping kids cope with loss is truly invaluable," said Steve Long.

"Our volunteer ambulance and fire firefighters deserve not only our thanks, but additional financial support to be certain they are as safe as possible," shared Tracy Mitchell.

"It is an opportunity to show our appreciate and gratitude for the first responders," explained Joseph Traina.

"After my dog experienced a traumatic accident this summer and is confined to a wheelchair, I support the dedication and compassion of helping the animal shelter," shared Lina LeRose.

"Wigs are life," noted Jason Weiner. "Why not spice up the holiday season with a throwback wig party?"
