"Cintas Corporation donated additional 'feel good items' such as pink cozy socks, blanket, hat, lotion, lip balm, and a candle just to make sure patients know that people care and are thinking about them," noted Susie Roden.
Normally the scene at Coopers Beach in Southampton is a mix of bundled up supporters, readily waiting to warm swimmers with towels, and those in bathing suits or the costume of their choice, shivering away as they await the annual holiday season dip into the Atlantic Ocean.
"A family holiday photo is not complete without including our furry members as well," said Linda Goldsmith.
"This contest is a fun opportunity to get in the community holiday spirit," explained Maureen Rutkowski.
Following its Festival of Lights last weekend, Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce is keeping in the holiday spirit with a Village-wide Victorian era-themed festival.
"We look forward to hosting Santa at Rowdy every year as it really gets everyone in the holiday spirit," shared Michelle Moliski.
Coopers Beach in Southampton will be packed with daring plungers, who are willing to submerge themselves into the ocean in support of Human Resources of the Hamptons' Food Pantry.
"The holidays are very festive at the Rogers Mansion - a Greek-revival, 20 room house built in 1843 by whaling Captain Albert Rogers," said Tom Edmonds.
"For the first time at Lilly Pulitzer, we're offering an experiential gift with purchase for Colorful Friday (AKA the Lilly version of Black Friday)," shared Janie Paradis.
Once the last turkey drumstick and piece of pumpkin pie has been devoured, it's time to turn our attention to Yuletide festivities, and Thanksgiving weekend in the Hamptons is filled with seasonal spirit.
