The Retreat, the East End's only domestic violence services agency, recently announced their new officers for 2015, as well as the addition of two new members to their Board of Directors.
The weekend long forum will feature lectures from leading naturalists and the opportunity to explore the natural world of Long Island.
"Montauk is a wonderful destination in the spring for families to come out and celebrate the holiday weekend in our hamlet, and Eggstravaganza will be a great kick-off," noted Laraine Creegan, Executive Director of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce.
Montauk resident and former Montauk School Board member Terry Watson will lead the 53rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade as this year's Grand Marshal.
"After this harsh winter, we are looking forward to Spring, a new beginning for a lot of things, the baseball season for starters and it's also great time to adopt a shelter pet as the weather gets warmer," noted Jamie Berger.
Southampton Historical Museum is continuing its celebrations of Southampton's 375th Anniversary during a series of workshops, lectures, and festivities throughout March.
St. Patrick's Day may officially be Tuesday, March 17th, but the East End is celebrating during three weekends worth of festivities, including these six parades covering Westhampton to Montauk, St. James, and Cutchogue.
Southampton Hospital was the driving force behind a regional outreach campaign in February, as part of Heart Month.
Scrabblers and Words with Friends fans get ready to bring it during this East End competition.
The closeness of the two settlement's founding has, in the past, created a mostly friendly rivalry between Southampton and Southold.
